Brain Burner @ Liquid Ship, 10th April.
This coming Sunday there will be another Brain Burner night at the Liquid Ship on Glasgow’s Great Western Road, free entry as always with everything starting around 9pm. Wounded Knee, Muris, theapplesofenergy, and Iliop will all be playing, and it’ll be a pretty chilled affair.
Also, it is with sad faces that we have to announce that it will be the last Brain Burner night at the Liquid Ship. Plans are afoot for other nights in other venues, involving more experimental music and an interest in involving other kinds of media. Keep your eyes and ears peeled. Updates will follow soon, and we hope to see you on Sunday.
Brain Burner: Wounded Knee, Muris, Applesofenergy, Iliop.
Brain Burner will be returning to the Liquid Ship on the 10th of April, two weeks after the 27th of March show (featuring Radiation Fuck; Ug!; Messiah Complex; Cop Porn; and Lady Thigh) with local luminary Wounded Knee displaying his unique blend of Scottish folk, bothy ballads and minimal techno inspired vocal loops; the Edinburgh based Iliop bringing beats, bloops and an Animal Collective-esque approach to creative electronic music; theapplesofenergy bringing chilled, post-rock influenced ambience to the Brain Burner table; alongside Muris, a collaborative project between Liene Rozite and Neil Davidson.

Who?
We are Brain Burner and we put on shows in Glasgow. Past shows have included the likes of Guanoman; Noma; Mr Peppermint; Tangles; Blue Sabbath, Black Fiji; Helhesten, all gracing the stage in the corner of Glasgow’s sleepy Liquid Ship. There’s noise, there’s ambience, there’s punk rock, and there’s arty experimentalism, and all of these things we relish in.
